The language of climate chaos has gotten out of hand

According to Mike Hulme climate change choas doom mongering has got out of hand. This is from a BBC news Viewpoint article. "Climate change is a reality, and science confirms that human activities are heavily implicated in this change. But over the last few years a new environmental phenomenon has been constructed in this country - the phenomenon of "catastrophic" climate change."

Mike Hulme is Professor of Environmental Sciences at the University of East Anglia, and Director of the Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research. Source BBC news

Yes, dishonestly usually is the key for liberals in argumentation.

Enough with all the liberals are evil and out to destroy the world, mrsmarterthanyou (you're probably smarter than a snail).
You have fallen for the republicans distorted view of the world, where anyone who disagrees with them are liberals.
Science uses precise terminology when discussing subjects like climate change. It's only when the media get hold of something that the langauge changes and becomes more dramatic.
Call me a liberal and i'll show you some good old fashioned british socialism.

In the US, our democrats who are socialist call themselves liberals.

Different culture you know, different words. Please bear that in mind and don't take offence at THAT.

But the science of global warming is itself politicized, and many scientists are guilty of fraud and distortion of the facts in order to push an aganda, a liberal/socialist agenda. They want to weaken the US so that we will have to compromise in the world stage, so that we cannot deal with dictators and communist/socialist regimes from a position of strength. It all seems to come down to politics these days.

Oh yes, good old fashioned British socialism. Capitulation to the soviets, rationed health care, bad teeth, class system, support of Britanistan, destruction of the British national identity, eventual dhimmitude.

But at least British socialists admit who they are and what they want, in the US, socialists hide their true goals, and invent new names for themselves every so often, as the tarnish the current one. Right now they are on "progressive", which I believe Lenin advised them to use.
