America: "You have one week."
When normal countries are forced to go to war against their neighbors, they get to fight those wars until they win or give up. In the Middle East, Israel’s enemies get to start wars with the confidence that Israel will not be allowed to retaliate for more than a week or two before the international community steps in and puts a halt to Israel’s impending victory. That’s why Israel had to learn to win wars in six days - they aren’t allowed to fight for any longer than that unless they’re losing (see: Yom Kippur War). I do not believe the US ever has really supported Israel in the way it is claimed to support Israel. In fact, I already have read those links!
It is just comical how the US is seen as the Great Satan along with Israel, when in fact the US has often explicitly acted against Israel's interests!
